High-resolution scans preserve more detail, which result in sharper enlargements.  We offer 2-levels of resolution: Hi-Res and Super-Hi-Res.  Our Hi-Res scans have are suitable for most applications: prints (up to 8x10), slideshows, e-mail and web use.  Our Super-Hi-Res scans are the best way to archive your photos for the future and make stunning enlargements.

How do I choose the right scanning resolution for my photos?

I have an HD camcorder, can you put the video onto a disc?

We transfer VHS, VHS-C, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, MiniDV, HDV, Audio Cassette and Microcassette.  Most audio and video transfers are performed in-store in real time.  In many cases, your transfers are ready the same day.  Old Movie Film (8mm, Super8, 16mm), Beta, BetaMax and PAL (European standard) are transfered through our out-lab and can take a few weeks to process. 

What tapes do you transfer and how long does it take?

Yes!  We can preserve HD video onto standard DVDs or Blu-ray discs in Hi-Def.  All you need is a Blu-ray player.

Yes!  Discount depends on disc quantity and packaging.  Bring in the disc for a free estimate.  Disc duplication is an in-store service and can be ready in as little as 5 minutes.

I have so many photos and tapes!  Where do I start?

As you may already know, preserving your family’s memories can be a long process that is both technical and labor-intensive.  Over the years, we have developed solutions that are professional and affordable.  It’s easy to get started.  Just bring in your photos and tapes, we will help you get organized and stay on budget.

I need lots of DVD copies, can I get a bigger discount?

What is a custom print and how long does it take?

A custom print is a hand crafted photo that brings out the best in your image.  Printed on your choice of archival paper or canvas, custom prints are hand color corrected, dodged and burned, spotted for dust, scratches and small blemishes and sharpened.  In-store custom prints from digital files are usually ready the same day and 1-2 business days from film or prints.

My audio tapes are 90-minutes long, will that fit on 1 CD?

CDs will hold a maximum of 80-minutes of uncompressed audio.  If you have an audio cassette that is over 80-minutes long, we will split the transfer onto 2 CDs; side A and side B.  The split charge is $5.95.

Help! I lost my pictures.

If you can’t access your photos from your memory card, you may have a data corruption issue.  Don’t worry.  Stop using the card and bring it in to the store.  We will try everything we can to recover your lost photos.  Our image recovery efforts are free, you only pay a flat rate if we recover what you want.  There is no obligation.
